Isaac Carmignani is a New York City native, a graduate of Brooklyn Technical High School, and a Queens resident for the past 25 years. Mr. Carmignani has been an active public school parent and education advocate for the last 12 years, having served in a number of roles within his children’s school communities, including PA Vice President and President, SLT AND CEC 30 President and Vice President.
Professionally, Mr. Carmignani has worked at the United States Postal Service in Maintenance and most recently Electronics Technology for the past 24 years, and he is also the co-founder of a software startup. Mr. Carmignani serves as secretary of NYC Kids PAC; he is on the Overcrowding Task Force convened by Councilwoman Julissa Ferreras; he was a member of the CEC election task force; and, he served on the Education Advisory Council for then-Public Advocate Bill de Blasio advocating for universal pre-kindergarten. Mr. Carmignani is currently working toward a degree in Forensic Science at John Jay College of Criminal Justice.
