Did you know…the New York City Schools Account (NYCSA) now offers:
A Mobile App
As of this school year, families can access the information they need more conveniently than ever, thanks to the new NYCSA mobile application, available in the Google Play Store or Apple App Store. Additional information about the application can be found at the NYCSA Mobile Application page.
NYCSA now allows you to submit digital versions of many NYC Public Schools forms directly! Using technology powered by Docusign, you can fill out and sign a digital form that will be made immediately available to your school. Some of the forms you can now sign and submit electronically include:
- Media Consent for NYC Department of Education Use
- Housing Questionnaire
- Special Education Recovery Services Form (for students with IEPs only)
- Request to Identify Parents on Active Duty in the Armed Forces
Did you know that you can track your child’s education on any computer, phone, or tablet? In the MyStudent section of your NYC Schools Account, you can track your student’s grades, schedule, test scores, transportation, attendance, and more! If your student has an Individualized Education Program (IEP), you can view their student’s recommended services. You must be linked to a student in order to view this information.
Learning with Parent University
Using your NYCSA credentials, you can access a world of resources developed for parents and guardians! Parent University offers training, coaching, and other resources for families to help you develop new skills and support your children’s educational success. Stay connected! Make sure your school and NYCPS can reach you with important information and urgent alerts! Be sure to update your contact information in your NYC Schools Account (NYCSA) online at schoolsaccount.nyc, or complete the emergency contact form provided by your school. Learn how to sign up for NYCSA at schools.nyc.gov/nycsa.
NYCSA can also help you connect with your school community and elected parent groups in your district! Want to receive important information about meetings, events, and learning opportunities from the parent leader volunteers on the Community and Citywide Education Councils (CCECs) and your school’s Parent Association/Parent Teacher Association (PA/PTA)?
- Go to “Manage Account” in your NYCSA settings and selecting “Stay Connected” to begin receiving messages from your local and citywide parent leaders.
