Assistant Principals

Youth Career Connect

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS:

State Licensed and Appointed NYCDOE Assistant Principal                                                                                                                                                                 

SELECTION CRITERIA: 

  • Preference will be given to staff from schools  participating in the Youth Career Connect Initiative (YCC)
  • Knowledge of high school graduation requirements
  • Knowledge of state and city academic policy pertaining to high schools
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

                       

DUTIES/ RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Serve as the licensed pedagogical personnel for YCC related activities
  • Coordinate YCC activities at your school
  • Attend professional development sessions on various YCC-focused topics
  • Chaperone YCC students to various meetings after school and/or weekends
  • Submit data as requested by the central office
  • Complete related duties as needed

 

SALARY:                                

As per Collective Bargaining Agreement

 

WORK SCHEDULE:              

July 2018 – June 2019 (Approximately 50 hours)
