2018 Borough HS Fairs Technical Support – Teachers (10-20 per session positions)

 

LOCATION:                

2018 High School Fairs

 

September 22 and 23

  • Bronx – Clinton DeWitt Educational Campus, Her
  • Brooklyn – John Dewey High School
  • Manhattan – Martin Luther King Jr. Educational Campus
  • Queens – John Adams High School

               

October 13 and 14

  • Bronx – Herbert H. Lehman High School
  • Brooklyn – Brooklyn Technical High School
  • Manhattan – Martin Luther King Jr. Educational Campus
  • Queens – Francis Lewis High School
  • Staten Island – Port Richmond High School

 

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS:          

NYCDOE Licensed and Appointed Teachers  

                                                                                                                                 

SELECTION CRITERIA: 

Experience operating presentation equipment including desktop, laptop, projector, and house AV system; satisfactory rating, attendance and punctuality; Principal recommendation At least three (3) years of satisfactory (Highly Effective/Effective) experience within the NYCDOE.

 

DUTIES/ RESPONSIBILITIES:            

  • Set-up, operate and breakdown all technical equipment including but not limited to laptop, projector and house AV for classroom and or auditorium presentation
  • Conduct sound and technical check prior to event; escalate any issues to the Office of Student Enrollment and Principal
  • Monitor desktop or laptop computer use in a computer lab, if needed

 

WORK SCHEDULE:   

Ability to work both Saturday and Sunday of either weekend noted above on a flexible schedule, up to 5 hours per day, between the hours of 8 am and 4 pm. Specific hours and schedules are not guaranteed. Schedule to be determined and will remain subject to change.

 

SALARY:                     

Per Session rates as per the UFT Collective Bargaining Agreement.  Contingent Upon Funding Availability. (UFT or relevant Union/Organization).

 

Transportation and out-of-pocket expenses will not be reimbursed.
