NYCDOE licensed and appointed assistant principal
- At least three (3) years of satisfactory (Highly Effective/Effective) experience within the NYCDOE.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Knowledge of state and city academic policy as it pertains to schools
- Minimum 1 year of satisfactory experience developing and implementing curriculum
Under the supervision of licensed personnel:
- Participate in implicit bias training
- Participate in the Critically Conscious Educators Rising Series (CCER)
- Facilitate school based equity team meetings
- Co-produce shared curricula; test and pilot units
- Learn about CRE in planning and practice
October 2018 - June 2019 (Approximately 35 hours depending upon funding availability)
Per Session rates as per the UFT Collective Bargaining Agreement. Contingent Upon Funding Availability. (UFT or relevant Union/Organization).
