Teacher, Technology Support Staff (Approximately 4 positions)
45-18 Court Square, 2nd Floor
Long Island City, NY
Licensed and appointed NYCDOE Teacher
At least three (1) year of satisfactory (Highly Effective/Effective) experience within the NYCDOE.
- Provide logistical support for sessions as requested
- A/V set-up and breakdown, assessment room tech support as needed
- Provide participant, facilitation and session videotaping and/or photography as requested
- Manage upkeep of technology equipment including lab computers and cameras
- Provide technical support to the NYCDOE Principal Candidate Pool team
- Participate in various Principal Candidate Pool training activities to support participants’ learning
Sessions vary weekly and include Saturdays. Time varies from 3:30pm to 8:00pm weekly and 8:00am to 5:00pm Saturday. Approximately 100 hours per teacher. ADDITIONAL HOURS GRANTED UPON THE APPROVAL OF THE HIRING MANAGER.
Per Session rates as per the UFT Collective Bargaining Agreement. Contingent Upon Funding Availability. (UFT or relevant Union/Organization).

NOTE: Service exceeding the number of hours specified in Chancellor’s Regulation C-175 governing per session activities requires prior approval. The appropriate Per Session Supervisor must make the request via the Per Session Service System and receive approval before the person can begin working in the activity. Failure to obtain a valid waiver may result in the withholding of payment for hours worked beyond the maximum.
