Office of Postsecondary Readiness

52 Chambers Street

New York, NY 10007

Also various school locations throughout the five boroughs

 

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS:             

NYCDOE Licensed and appointed Assistant Principals

                                                                                                                                                 

SELECTION CRITERIA: 

Preference will be given to:

  • Assistant Principals currently working in schools participating in, or scheduled to participate in, the Multiple Pathways Institute for SY19-20

     

    DUTIES/ RESPONSIBILITIES:              

  • Participate in professional development with DOE staff and partners and/or;
  • Design and share common core aligned curriculum, and/or;
  • Participate in program evaluation activities

 

WORK SCHEDULE:              

Ongoing Professional Development & Course Development: Will take place during summer 2019 with DOE Staff and Partners. Hours up to, but not limited to, approximately 30 hours. Additional hours granted upon approval of the hiring manager. 

 

SALARY:                                

Per Session rates as per the UFT Collective Bargaining Agreement.  Contingent Upon Funding Availability. (UFT or relevant Union/Organization).
