Office of Postsecondary Readiness (OPSR) College Access Leadership Fellow Teacher
Seeking approximately 9 NYC DOE Licensed and appointed Teachers.
Locations throughout the five boroughs
NYCDOE Licensed and appointed Teacher
- Preference will be given to Social Workers who have attended and/or facilitated OPSR Summer Inquiry Institute and working in a school participating in College Access for All program.
- Minimum of 1 year of satisfactory (Highly Effective / Effective) experience within NYCDOE
- Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing
- Demonstrated ability to provide instructional assistance to students, parents, and community representatives
Attend CA4A Leadership Fellows PD Sessions
Facilitate small group work at 2 or more CA4A Professional Learning Community events.
Complete related duties as needed.
Wednesday evenings 1 time per month October 2019 - June 2020 and two half day events spring 2020. Hours up to, but not limited to 25 total. Additional hours granted upon approval of the Hiring Manager.
Per Session rates as per the relevant union/organization of the advertised title (UFT, CSA, DC-37 - Collective Bargaining Agreement). Contingent Upon Funding Availability.

The appropriate Per Session Supervisor must make the request via the Per Session Service System and receive approval before the person can begin working in the activity. Failure to obtain a valid waiver may result in the withholding of payment for hours worked beyond the maximum.
