PER SESSION VACANCY CIRCULAR (VC) NOTICE # 116: Teacher - Wallace Leadership Fellow (Office of Leadership)

Wallace Leadership Fellow. Approximately 30 positions.
Onsite at various locations with the majority of sessions taking place in Downtown Brooklyn.
Must be a licensed and appointed NYCDOE teacher who possesses a valid New York State certificate in School Building Leadership (SBL) and is participating in the Wallace Leadership Fellows Program.
• Member of the Wallace Leadership Fellows Program.
• At least three years of satisfactory experience within the NYCDOE.
• Possession of a valid New York State certificate in School Building Leadership (SBL).
• Completion of Wallace Leadership Application.
• Recommendation from principal.
• Willingness to become a NYCDOE supervisor within the next one to three years.
• Experience with designing and implementing school-based initiatives/programs.
Attend all Wallace Leadership Fellow sessions. (Approximately 10 sessions)
Complete all assignments including, but not limited to, readings, projects and reflections in a timely manner.
Majority of sessions take place on weekday evenings; approximately 4:30 pm to 7:30 pm. Participants will need approval from principal to attend approximately three half day sessions which will require early dismissal from school. Half day sessions take place approximately noon to 4:00 pm. Per session is only applicable for hours outside of the workday. Approximately up to, but not limited to, 35 hours granted upon the approval of the hiring manager.
ADDITIONAL HOURS GRANTED UPON THE APPROVAL OF THE HIRING MANAGER.
Per Session rates as per the relevant union/organization of the advertised title (UFT, CSA, DC-37 - Collective Bargaining Agreement). Contingent Upon Funding Availability.
