Office of Postsecondary Readiness (OPSR) College Access Summer Institute Participant Social Worker
Seeking approximately 100 NYC DOE Licensed and appointed Social Workers.
Locations throughout the five boroughs
NYCDOE Licensed and appointed Social Worker
- Preference will be given to Social Workers who have attended and/or facilitated OPSR Summer Inquiry Institute and working in a school participating in College Access for All program.
- Minimum of 1 year of satisfactory (Highly Effective / Effective) experience within NYCDOE
- Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing
- Demonstrated ability to provide instructional assistance to students, parents, and community representatives
Attend CA4A Summer Institute as a member of a cross functional team
Assess existing systems and structures, reflect on student outcome data
Collaborate on design of a school-specific improvement plan,
Complete related duties as needed.
Monday/Tuesday OR Wednesday/Thursday, 8:30a-430p, in the weeks of July 15, 22, 29, or August 5
15 hours; Additional hours granted upon approval of the Hiring Manager.
Per Session rates as per the relevant union/organization of the advertised title (UFT, CSA, DC-37 - Collective Bargaining Agreement). Contingent Upon Funding Availability.

The appropriate Per Session Supervisor must make the request via the Per Session Service System and receive approval before the person can begin working in the activity. Failure to obtain a valid waiver may result in the withholding of payment for hours worked beyond the maximum.
