Teacher Assigned/Screener (up to 4 positions)
Peer Intervention Program (PIP) Headquarters

Must be employed by the Peer Intervention Program as a Peer Intervener, Assistant Coordinator or Coordinator.
Currently employed by the Peer Intervention Program
A minimum of 3 years of Peer Intervenor experience
Demonstrated ability to establish rapport and communicate effectively on the telephone while conducting confidential screening questions
Excellent written skills
Excellent oral communication skills
Maintain confidentiality of Article 21-I and the Peer Intervention Program
Per session personnel will perform the following tasks under the direction of the Assistant Coordinator/Coordinator:
Call potential applicants requesting Peer Intervention services
Complete mandatory confidential phone screening of potential applicants
Transcribe accurate quote responses to be submitted in a timely fashion
Willingness to explain and inform potential participants of the requirements of the Peer Intervention Program
Perform other related tasks
Monday through Thursday, 4:00 P.M. to 6:00 P.M. (later end time sometimes required)
September 2019- June 2020
Exact schedule TBD by Assistant Coordinator/Coordinator
Per Session rates as per the relevant union/organization of the advertised title (UFT, CSA, DC-37 - Collective Bargaining Agreement). Contingent Upon Funding Availability.

The appropriate Per Session Supervisor must make the request via the Per Session Service System and receive approval before the person can begin working in the activity. Failure to obtain a valid waiver may result in the withholding of payment for hours worked beyond the maximum.
