School Coordinator to implement and oversees a driver’s education scholarship program in partnership with lead drivers education coordinator for NYSED approved CTE schools and programs
High School for Computers and Technology
NYCDOE CTE licensed and/or non-CTE teachers appointed teacher at the school listed above
● Available to work period indicated below.
● Achieved a satisfactory rating for the past two years.
● Ability to work independently and manage multiple responsibilities
● Possess a NYS drivers license
Work with lead coordinator to implement driver education scholarship program
Work with teachers on selection process and student recruitment
Work with lead coordinator and local driving schools to ensure payment and services are rendered
Support schools in maintaining and meeting deadlines
Support and implement the program’s high expectations of students
Monitor student survey and post program results from all schools
Maintain thorough record keeping/ Data collection
Work with the Office of Postsecondary Readiness
Coordinate with parents/guardians of participating students
Willingness to be available and share personal mobile #’s in case of emergencies
Before and after school activity, including Saturday and Sunday if necessary, hours based upon available funding (up to 40 hours)
ADDITIONAL HOURS GRANTED UPON THE APPROVAL OF THE HIRING MANAGER.
Per Session rates as per the relevant union/organization of the advertised title (UFT, CSA, DC-37 - Collective Bargaining Agreement). Contingent Upon Funding Availability.
