Counselor Lead, STARS Postsecondary Planning Tracker
Seeking approximately 20 NYC DOE Licensed and appointed Guidance Counselors
Locations throughout the five boroughs
NYCDOE licensed and appointed Guidance Counselors
Preference will be given to Guidance Counselors who have attended OPSR Summer Inquiry Institute and are working in a school participating in College Access for All program.
Minimum of 1 year of satisfactory (Highly Effective / Effective) experience within NYCDOE
Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing
Use STARS Postsecondary Planning Tracker tool to document student completion of key postsecondary matriculation milestones.
Participate in focus groups for ongoing development of the tool.
Hours up to but not limited to APPROXIMATELY 10 HOURS of after school work using the STARS postsecondary planning tracker during the months of October through May. Additional hours granted upon the approval of the hiring manager.
Per Session rates as per the UFT Collective Bargaining Agreement. Contingent Upon Funding Availability.
