POSITION:                 

Transcript Evaluator (Approximately 2 Teachers)

 

LOCATION:                

Division of Human Capital

Medical, Leaves & Records Administration

65 Court Street – Room 201

Brooklyn, New York 11201

 

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS:          

NYCDOE Licensed, appointed and tenured teachers

                                                                                                                                                 

SELECTION CRITERIA: 

•              Knowledge of coursework in college transcripts

•              Knowledge of pedagogical curriculum

•              Demonstration of excellence in organizational skills

•              Ability to input date into database

•              Excellent  communications skills

 

DUTIES/ RESPONSIBILITIES:            

•              Review of transcripts submitted

•              Establish/verify consistency of coursework submitted with applicants’ license/request

•              Maintenance of database

•              Provide management with comprehensive list for review and appropriate action

 

WORK SCHEDULE:   

October 15, 2019 through June 30, 2020 (as needed)

Monday through Friday-3:30pm – 6:30pm

(Approx. 100 hours-based on budget)

 

ADDITIONAL HOURS GRANTED UPON THE APPROVAL OF THE HIRING MANAGER.

 

SALARY:                     

Per Session rates as per the relevant union/organization of the advertised title (UFT, CSA, DC-37 - Collective Bargaining Agreement).  Contingent Upon Funding Availability.
