PSAL Track and Field Hy-Tek Teacher (5 Positions)
44-36 Vernon Boulevard, LIC, NY and sites throughout the five (5) boroughs
Valid New York City Department of Education license as a teacher.
• A satisfactory rating in your most recent assignment
• Excellent record of attendance and punctuality
• Demonstrated knowledge and past experience with sports related activities
• Experience in working with Track and Field - Hy-Tek software and knowledgeable of the PSAL website
Under the direction of the Track and Field Commissioner, the applicant will be responsible for using Hy-Tek software for meet results. Additionally the applicant will manage and troubleshoot the scoring system for track meets using the Fully Automated Timing System (FAT) as well as timing equipment for Cross Country and Outdoor Track Meets. Applicant will be responsible for communicating with PSAL staff on issues encountered
August 2019 through June 2020
Specific dates to be arranged by PSAL
Total hours approximately: 200-300 each
HOURS UP TO, BUT NOT LIMITED TO APPROXIMATELY 200-300 HOURS. ADDITIONAL HOURS GRANTED UPON THE APPROVAL OF THE HIRING MANAGER.
Per Session rates as per the relevant union/organization of the advertised title (UFT, CSA, DC-37 - Collective Bargaining Agreement). Contingent Upon Funding Availability.
