PSAL Special Event Coordinator (5 Positions)
44-36 Vernon Boulevard, LIC, NY and sites throughout the five (5) boroughs
Valid New York City Department of Education license teacher.
• Satisfactory rating in current teaching position
• Excellent record of attendance and punctuality
• Demonstrated knowledge and past experience with sports related activities
• Ability to utilize the PSAL website
• Must be CPR/First Aid/AED certified
Under the direction of the Executive Director of the Public Schools Athletic League, the applicant will be responsible for overseeing shuttle bus service at designated sites. Coordinate distribution of equipment donations. He/She will also be responsible for communicating with PSAL staff on issues encountered
August 2019 through June 2020
Specific dates to be arranged by PSAL
Total hours approximately: 75-100 each
HOURS UP TO, BUT NOT LIMITED TO APPROXIMATELY 75-100 HOURS. ADDITIONAL HOURS GRANTED UPON THE APPROVAL OF THE HIRING MANAGER.
Per Session rates as per the relevant union/organization of the advertised title (UFT, CSA, DC-37 - Collective Bargaining Agreement). Contingent Upon Funding Availability.
