SHSAT Specialized High Schools Admissions Test (Approximately 2 positions)
Stuyvesant High School, 345 Chambers St, New York, NY
New York City Department of Education licensed Teaching Assistant
Preference will be given to applicants who demonstrate the following:
Ability to follow all the rules and regulations of the NYC Dept. of Education
Experience and knowledge of SHSAT administration
Effective communication with students
Organizational skills and attention to detail
Under the direct supervision of the Site Supervisor and/or the room proctor:
Must support students, as directed by room proctor, during the administration of the exam
Must assist room proctor in the organization of materials and room for test purposes
Must adhere to policies and procedures relating to the exam and the school building
Expectation for one test administration on August 15 and one mandatory training session in late July or early August. Up to, but not limited to between approximately 3 to 8 hours per position – depending on number of applicants. Additional hours granted upon the approval of the hiring manager.
Per Session rates as per the relevant union/organization of the advertised title (UFT, CSA, DC-37 - Collective Bargaining Agreement). Contingent Upon Funding Availability.
