SHSAT Specialized High Schools Admissions Test (Approximately 1 position)
Stuyvesant High School, 345 Chambers St, New York, NY
New York City Department of Education licensed School Secretary
Preference will be given to applicants who demonstrate the following:
Ability to follow all the rules and regulations of the NYC Dept. of Education
Experience and knowledge of SHSAT administration
Effective communication with groups of students and families
Organizational skills and attention to detail
Under the direct supervision of the Site Supervisor, the secretary:
Assists supervisor with the preparation, distribution, and collection of test administration materials
Assists supervisor and proctors with per session form
Responds to family inquiries and support students who need phone access
Expectation for one test administration on August 15 and related pre-administration organization. Up to but not limited to between approximately 10 and 15 hours per position. Additional hours granted upon the approval of the hiring manager.
Per Session rates as per the relevant union/organization of the advertised title (UFT, CSA, DC-37 - Collective Bargaining Agreement). Contingent Upon Funding Availability.
