POSITION:                 

Professional Development for New Teacher Mentors

 

LOCATION:                

Multiple Locations - City wide

 

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS:          

•              NYCDOE Licensed and appointed Teachers

•              Selected as School-based mentors

                                                                                                                                                 

SELECTION CRITERIA: 

Pre-selected as a School-Based Mentor

 

DUTIES/ RESPONSIBILITIES:            

•              Attends sessions to learn and plan for productive mentoring sessions

•              Supports new teacher(s) with implementation of new learning

•              Shares information with other mentors

 

WORK SCHEDULE:   

From August 30th 2019 to June 30th 2020. Sessions vary. Time varies, typically from 3:30pm to 8:00pm weekly

Up to a maximum of 20 hours per position (not guaranteed)

ADDITIONAL HOURS GRANTED UPON THE APPROVAL OF THE HIRING MANAGER.

 

SALARY:                     

Per Session rates as per the relevant union/organization of the advertised title (UFT, CSA, DC-37 - Collective Bargaining Agreement).  Contingent Upon Funding Availability.
