Administration for Children's Services (ACS) Resource Areas

Many DOE early childhood programs offer care all year round for up to 10 hours a day, for families that qualify based on their income, size, and needs. This includes Head Start programs. Visit our Infant and Toddler, 3-K, and pre-K pages to learn more about these programs.

ACS Resource Areas can help families determine if they are eligible, complete the proper paperwork, identify a program nearby that meets their needs and apply. If your family is eligible and there is a seat available, your child can begin attending a program at any time during the year.
