Virtual Activities from Across NYC

Animal Care Centers of NYC

Calling all young animal lovers! Join Animal Care Centers of NYC (ACC), New York City’s official animal shelter, for an online presentation on how we can best serve our community's pets and people. ACC's mission is to end animal homelessness in our city, and you can help! Topics include information about our shelters, cat and dog body language, the importance of adoption, how to be a great pet guardian, fun and creative ways you can support animals from home, and more!

For more information, check out ACC's Community Kids page or email CommunityOutreach@nycacc.org. Want animal-related activities, resources, and more in your inbox each month? Sign up for the Pawprint, ACC's monthly e-newsletter for kids, families and teachers!

Department of Youth and Community Development (DYCD)

DYCD made Virtual Resources For All Ages, a list of resources to help families and community-based organizations engage youth in NYC throughout the summer. The list contains information on summer activities across the city that are related to arts and culture, communication, design, education and learning, museums, math, science, and more. Take a moment and explore the resources and, most importantly, be safe and have fun!
