About

The COVID-19 mandatory in-school testing program began on October 9, 2020 and will continue throughout the school year. Beginning in December of 2020, all buildings that remained open for in-person learning required mandatory, weekly in-school testing for COVID-19 for a randomly selected portion of staff and students in grades 1 and higher.

This testing initiative is organized by our partners at NYC Health + Hospitals, the New York City Department of Health and Mental Hygiene (DOHMH), and the NYC Test & Trace Corps.
