Daily Menu Options

In addition to our center of the plate meal option(s), students have access to many daily offerings. Our daily offered menu options support students with allergy restrictions, vegetarian and vegan preferences, and some restricted diets. The plant-based options offered daily are our Peanut Butter and/or Sunflower Seed Butter & Jelly Sandwiches and Hummus Grab & Go lunch. Vegetarian options offered daily are our hot and cold Cheese Sandwiches. Select days include Assorted Vegetarian Wraps (Monday), Assorted Vegetarian Wraps (Friday) and Tuna Sandwiches (Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday). We identify menu items/recipes with either a (V) for Vegetarian or (VE) for Vegan, for menu awareness.

Milk Options

Under the National School Lunch and School Breakfast programs, milk must be offered to students as part of the meal. OFNS provides low fat milk, non-fat milk, and non-fat chocolate milk. Schools that do not wish to serve chocolate milk as an option should communicate their request to the School Food Service Manager assigned to their school, via their school administration.

Alternative Milk Options

Children who cannot consume milk due to a dairy allergy or lactose intolerance may receive a milk substitute (soy or lactose-free milk). Medical documentation is required for School Breakfast Program and National School Lunch Program.
