If you are having difficulties obtaining language assistance, learn how to Get Help or File a Complaint. You may also provide feedback on the DOE's language services by completing our Translation & Interpretation Feedback Survey, emailing hello@schools.nyc.gov or calling 718-935-2013.

"I Speak" Card

Download and print the Parent's Guide to Language Access, which includes an "I Speak" card. Bring the card with you when you visit your child’s school or DOE office to request assistance in your language.

Sign Language Interpretation Services

For sign language interpretation services, please contact your school’s parent coordinator or the Office of Sign Language Interpreting Services via email OSLIS@schools.nyc.gov.

Translation of the DOE’s Website
