Kristin Jefferson is an experienced leader with expertise in NYC school policy, instructional equity and multilingual learner systems. Jefferson is currently a Senior Education Consultant at Teaching Matters and found of KJ-Ed Solutions LLC. Previously, she served as the Academic Director and Network Multilingual Learner Coordinator at Explore Charter Schools. Jefferson was also the Director of Recruitment at the Office of New Schools for the NYC Department of Education. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and Latin American Studies from Rice University, a Master of Arts in Bilingual/Bicultural Education from Columbia University and a Master of Arts in Educational Leadership from Brooklyn College.
