Dr. Collins is a professor of political science and education at Teachers College, Columbia University, where he also serves as the executive director of the Center for Educational Equity. His research and teaching focus on school governance, the politics of education, and race and ethnic politics. His research has been published in a range of peer-reviewed academic journals, and he is the recipient of numerous fellowships and academic awards. But, his greatest accomplishment has been raising two amazing daughters with his incredible wife.
