The site navigation utilizes arrow, enter, escape, and space bar key commands. Left and right arrows move across top level links and expand / close menus in sub levels. Up and Down arrows will open main level menus and toggle through sub tier links. Enter and space open menus and escape closes them as well. Tab will move on to the next part of the site rather than go through menu items.

Expand your writing capabilities with Uptown Stories, an Uptown Manhattan-based nonprofit organization dedicated to offering afterschool and weekend-based creative writing and illustration workshops for children aged 8–18 years old. Available classes include: "Snobby Poetry," a workshop for "misfits" who love poetry and describe themselves as "liars who tell the truth;" The Elements of Fiction," where young writers between the ages of 8–12 can learn what it takes to develop great stories; and "Zine Machine" a workshop for students who are interested making "zines" the old-fashioned way: by hand! Once students lay out their first zines, they'll then mass-produce them by using a relic of the twentieth-century known as a "photocopier!"

Uptown Stories' tuition is "Pay-What-You-Can," visit Uptown Stories' webpage to learn more about the workshops, and register for a class today, as seats are limited.
