Then don’t wait any longer and apply today!

You have until Friday, March 1, 2024 at 11:59PM to submit your application for NYC Public Schools’ 3-K and Pre-K programs. Use the following resources to learn quickly about the admissions process:

• Review our 3-K and Pre-K webpages, which will have the most up-to-date information about admissions at any given time. If you’re applying for children to both grade levels, read thoroughly so you’re aware of the key differences between 3-K and Pre-K. On these webpages, you can find:
  • Our Elementary Admissions Video Series for both 3-K and Pre-K, embedded near the top of their respective pages, walks you through various stages of our application processes.
  • The 2024 NYC Public Schools Admissions Guide, at the bottom of both webpages, provides an overview of NYC's public school admissions processes and resources for early childhood programs.

• Log in or create a MySchools account. This is where you can explore and learn about specific programs you’re interested in, and submit your finalized application.
  
  
• In addition to MySchools, you can apply in the following ways, both of which provide language support in more than 200 languages over the phone. Please keep in mind that these support options have specific hours of operation:
  • By phone at 718-935-2009 by March 1, 2024 at 6PM 
  • Through a Family Welcome Center by March 1, 2024 at 3PM
    

If you’ve already applied and want to make updates to your program choices, you can resubmit your application until the deadline. Only your final submission will be taken into consideration.
